HR Advisor (24 hours)

Willems Baling Equipment is a dynamic and growing company specializing in the production of high-quality balers and other industrial machinery. We strive to create an innovative workplace where craftsmanship and quality go hand in hand. Over the past year, we have started a process of further professionalizing our HR department. As an all-round HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in shaping our HR structure and supporting the organization in all areas of human resources.
Your role as HR Advisor
As HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for employees, managers, and the board of directors. You know exactly how to strike the right balance between operational tasks and strategic advice. You will work closely with the board to develop and implement HR policies that contribute to the company’s growth and development. Although you will be the only colleague in the HR department, we can call on an experienced external HR Advisor whenever additional support is needed.
What will you be doing?
- Operational HR activities: From administration and time registration to processing employee changes and requests.
- Advice for managers: You advise managers on HR matters such as absenteeism, employee development, and conducting performance and appraisal interviews.
- Attending and following up on meetings: You are involved in job interviews, exit interviews, and important processes related to employee development.
- Policy development: You actively contribute to setting up and improving HR processes and policies, in line with the organization’s strategy.
What we expect from you:
- A higher professional education level of working and thinking, preferably in HRM or a related field.
- Proven experience in an all-round HR role, preferably in a production environment.
- Knowledge of HR administration and employment law.
- Experience in advising managers and supporting employees.
- You are persuasive, able to make decisions, and enjoy a challenge.
- Proactive, hands-on, and pragmatic in your approach, you know exactly what needs to be done.
- A knowledgeable sparring partner with a healthy dose of humor and self-confidence!
