What are you going to do?

As a Technical Buyer, you are the primary point of contact for all procurement activities. You request quotations, negotiate prices and delivery terms, and monitor delivery schedules. You prepare and approve purchase orders in accordance with established guidelines. In the event of bottlenecks or issues, you act promptly and effectively.

On a periodic basis, you report on procurement results, evaluate supplier contracts, and monitor supplier performance, including delivery reliability and quality. In addition, you initiate improvement proposals and ensure their successful implementation.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date system data and processing purchase transactions in the Ridder Q ERP system.

What do you bring?

  • A completed technical vocational (MBO) or bachelor’s (HBO) degree;
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills;
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional business relationships;
  • A creative and proactive mindset;
  • Determination and persistence in achieving optimal results;
  • Good command of the Dutch language; English proficiency is considered an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Ridder iQ is an advantage);
  • Ability to work independently within an ambitious team, with a flexible and hands-on attitude.
